Second Sunday OTR is a NEW initiative whose goal is to safely drive consumer support to OTR’s small business district on a regular basis. As much as we want to encourage people to come down to OTR, we are keeping social distancing and Covid-19 safety precautions our top priority. Even thought the activating storefronts will likely be spread out there will only be one pop-up shop per storefront. This sidewalk “fair” will be expanded throughout all of OTR but will have a very limited amount of vendor spaces available. We will not be pushing to make this nearly as crowded as a SSOM.
Each OTR storefront will participate by activating on the sidewalk in front of their store or inviting a vendor to do so. We are letting the OTR businesses invite their own vendor partners and are encouraging minority owned pop-up shops. We will also be working with MORTAR and other groups to pair businesses with a compatible vendor partners.
This has been put together very quickly in order to make Aug. 9th happen so please bear with us. We hope to invite even more vendors to participate in the Sept. 13th and Oct. 11th activations.

Second Sunday on Main is a FREE neighborhood street festival in Cincinnati’s historic neighborhood of Over-The-Rhine. This monthly celebration is produced by Main Street OTR in collaboration with the Over-The-Rhine Chamber of Commerce.
Each month from June to October, an estimated 3,000 visitors attend SSOM each month to explore Main Street’s 40+ participating shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes, and bars and more than 200 vendors.
This year Second Sunday on Main celebrates its 15th anniversary. With support from amazing local businesses and organizations, this terrific event continues to grow connect the OTR community each year. Second Sunday on Main is more than a street festival, it’s a community event that brings neighbors together. It’s a fun place to hang out with friends, a hub to meet your OTR neighbors, a fun event for families to relax, platform for great local music, and an incubator for aspiring entrepreneurs to sell their goods.
Types of Vendors: SSOM spans three blocks of Main Street, so there’s room for lots of vendors! Eligible vendors include: Artists, Creatives, Crafters, Arts-Organizations, Non-profits, & OTR Brick & Mortar businesses. Unsure if you are eligible? Please email us at SSOMVendors@gmail.com
SSOM vendors offer a variety of goods, services, and experiences, including:
- Fine art
- Illustrations and paper goods
- Vintage goods and antiques
- Clothing, accessories, and jewelry
- Plants, produce, and fresh flowers
- Beauty, health and wellness products
- Culinary Artists
- Non-profits and Arts Organizations
SSOM also welcomes arts organizations, non-profits, and neighborhood groups to participate. Non-profits receive 40% off their vendor fee. Final details regarding day-of set up will be emailed the week of the Second Sunday event each month.
2019 Vendor Fee:
$125 for the full season or $40 per event (10’x10′ booth)
Non-profits: $75 for the full season or $25 per event.
*Special Rate: October 13th, 2019 (night event during BLINK), $125 for a single event (included in full seasonal rate)
Second Sunday on Main has limited space for food trucks and vendors, and will make decisions with regard to seniority, creativity, ties to the Over-the-Rhine community, and ability to commit to all five dates. Food vendors – those with food trucks, carts, or food prepared on site – will be charged a $300 fee to set up for the season.
Those vendors selling packaged goods, such as baked goods and jams, or fresh produce may apply as a normal vendor.
