Thanks for participating in Second Sunday on Main! It’s always a great time, and we look forward to having you.
Here’s some information before your visit:
Getting here
Second Sunday takes place on Main Street in Over-the-Rhine, between 13th Street and Liberty. The street is closed to vehicles starting at 10:45am, though you’re welcome to drive your vehicle to your booth space to unpack before moving it.
Parking
Free parking is available at the Woodward lot, accessible via Sycamore Street between 13th and 14th. Street parking is also available on surrounding streets–the meters aren’t in effect on Sundays.
Registration
Second Sunday on Main takes place from Noon – 5pm. Vendors may register at Smartfish Supply at 1301 Main Street between 10:30am – Noon before setting up. Please do not arrive before 10:30 as there will be no one there to assist you. You may also make your cash or check payment at this time.
Payment
To receive discounted rate for signing up for all 5 months, you must pay the $55 fee by June 10th.
There are 3 Ways to Pay
1. Pay in person at Smartfish Supply (1301 Main Street)
Monday: 8am-4pm
Tuesday: 8am-7pm
Wednesday: 8am-4pm
Thursday: 8am-4pm
Friday: 12pm-7pm
Saturday: 11am-7pm
Closed on Sundays (except Second Sundays!).

3. Pay online via PayPal. We will send you an invoice from hello@smarterthanagoldfish.com.
Set-up
Spaces are unassigned, and available on a first-come, first-served basis. *Please remember not to set up directly in front of an open merchant’s store so as not to obscure their shop (this will be marked with chalk on the pavement). The event ends at 5pm and we must be off the street by 5:30 pm, so you can usually start packing up about 4:45.
Each vendor is responsible for providing their own table, chairs and/or canopy. Speaking of canopies, if you have a canopy, bring it! Second Sunday takes place rain or shine, and it gets hot when the sun hits Main Street.
There is currently no limit on exhibit space.
Vendors are advised to carry their own insurance. Second Sunday on Main will not be responsible for any accidents or merchandise loss.
The music stage is at the corner of Main St and 14th Street near MOTR, If you don’t like loud music, it’s best to set up further south, between 13th and Woodward Streets.
While you’re here
If you get hungry, there are usually several food vendors on the street, and Iris Bookcafe (1313 Main) and MOTR (1345 Main) have great food! Restrooms are generally available in most shops.
Other stuff to know
Bring plenty of business cards! People will want to know your contact information and where to find you online.
Second Sunday flyers are available to pick up at Iris Book Cafe during their business hours. You can also add this SSOM digital flyer to your site, post it to your Facebook page, or send it to your email list.
Promote yourself! Please share secondsundayonmain.org with your family, friends, customers, etc. Like the Second Sunday Facebook page and tag us to promote your booth. You can also follow us on Twitter @SSonMain and add your event photos to our Flickr group.
Vendor Code of Conduct
- To give Second Sunday on Main events highest quality food, merchandise and/or service possible.
- To cooperate with Second Sunday on Main authorities and have fun!
- To help promote Second Sunday on Main by telling people about the street-market.
- To not bring Alcohol to the street-market without a license to do so.
- To clean-up the site and leave Main Street Vending space in as-good or better condition than when you arrived.
- To be responsible for your own product, materials, sales taxes, licenses, permits, insurance and fees as necessary and/or required by law.
- That application fees are non-refundable once accepted to the event.
- To comply with everything in this application and all conditions set forth in the information attached to this application including the release/consent of my picture.
