Festivities at the Fall Carnival

The Fall Carnival rocked the day at 2014’s October installment of Second Sunday on Main, even in the face of looming weather woes that thankfully never came! More than 70 vendors brought their crafts to this final SSOM of the season, offering fall specials and handing out candy to kids in costumes and street patrons with a sweet tooth.

The highlight of the day was definitely the Little Creatures Costume Parade, which saw kids and dogs dawning their Halloween best for a stylish strut up the street with Baba Charles.

We also introduced the first pumpkin market near Rock Paper Scissors, painted another crosswalk with Art on the Streets, and found a groove in the hoop scene with Hoop Roots.

Mapi De Veyra and Tyler Delmatto of Quan Hapa and the Asian Food Fest hosted the October culinary demonstration in Mr. Pitifuls, and some of our favorite faces took to the streets in support of Union Terminal.
